In 2009 is 40 years since the Boadella dam, the great hydraulic infrastructure of Muga basin, came into service. In this period, the reservoir has gradually included new users who aspired to benefit from its supply. If the reservoir was designed to serve primarily to the agricultural demands afterwards will be added up other purposes as urban and tourist consumptions. This trend will arrive until the point to create some very tense moments due to the competition between water uses. This paper analyzes, in short, these developments and their implications from a territorial perspective.
