Producción y adquisición de la acentuación española en habla espontánea: el caso de los estudiantes taiwaneses
Abstract
The aim of this experiment is to study the specific difficulties that Chinese students of Spanish encounter in the production of Spanish stress in spontaneous speech. For that purpose, we study 77 dialogues produced by 53 Taiwanese students (3 different levels) learning Spanish at Providence University in Taiwan.
The results would seem to suggest that on the whole the subjects produce Spanish stress correctly. It also seems that the type of formal instruction the subjects receive has a positive effect on their ability to produce Spanish stress in spontaneous speech.
