Abstract

The electronic recuperation and publication of written sources has been improved thanks to the opportunities provided by new technologies related to reserach and digitalisation. This process has modified the management of Western and Arabic manuscripts. The institutions that preserve the documentary heritage of Medieval and Modern manuscripts in Arab and other languages of the Islamic culture have increased the digital processes in order to obtain more public access.
