Abstract

Este artículo pretende reflexionar sobre un breve poema situado en el capítulo 89 del Satiricón de Petronio que trata sobre la caída de Troya. La visión tradicional que se ha tenido sobre el poema se verá revisada y contrastada con nuevas aportaciones sobre las influencias de Virgilio y Séneca sobre el poema de Petronio y la relación de la Troiae Halosis con la crítica literaria de la época, aun no suficientemente señalada.
