Keywords:
Roman Dacia, Inlăceni, Philippus Arabs, cohors IIII Hispanorum, hammered off.Abstract
The paper presents a badly damaged Roman inscription from an auxiliary camp of eastern Dacia, which was erroneously published first. A new restitution of the text shows, that it was a honorary monument for Philippus Arabs dated 247 AD. The stone was reused in a refection sometime after the middle of the 3rd century.
