Abstract

El presente trabajo examina un episodio narrado por Lluís Ponç d’Icart en el Llibre de grandeses de Tarragona a propósito de la estancia de Marco Tulio Cicerón en la ciudad romana de Tarraco. Intentamos establecer el origen de este relato, que está sustentado además por dos inscripciones romanas de Tarragona que supuestamente hacen mención del político romano.
