Historia Augusta, Sosius Falco, Pertinax, false NerosAbstract
Sosius Falco, cos. 193, ploted against Pertinax. The gapped report of HA calls up the descriptions of false Agrippa and of false Neros. We emphasize that two of the three husbands of Falco’s grand-grandmother were respectively sons of the legate of Siria and of the proconsul of Asia who had been involved on the capture of the last two false Neros.
