DOI:

From the foundations that César Aira develops about Duchamp’s ready-made, it is possible to consider this concept image as a figure of art that operates in contemporary fictions. The following article intends to analyze three contemporary Latin American narratives under the figure of ready-made with the aim of establishing crossings between literature and art. The fictions are: El gran vidrio by Mario Bellatin, La virgen cabeza and Romance de la negra rubia by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara.
