The activity at school libraries in 2018 and 2019 does not present major differences with respect to the two previous years, 2016 and 2017. Despite the translation, publication and dissemination of the second edition of the IFLA Guidelines for school libraries published by the Department of Education, there is no clear policy for their improvement and promotion. In addition to reviewing the usual activities, this article incorporates a brief overview of the digital presence of school libraries. The section on publications is particularly short, probably a consequence of the limited range of perspectives on the situation.
