Resum

La crisis energética de los años setenta impuisó las energías renovables. Galicia se hallaba bien dotada para ellas, en especial para la hidráulica y la eólica. Ese contexto favorable fue aprovechado por algunas empresas como Engasa. Esta compañía tiene unos rasgos peculiares derivados de su carácter cooperativo y mixto. Su evolución ha estado marcada por la lentitud en la puesta en marcha de sus minicentrales hidráulicas, causada por la oposición vecinal y ecologista. El trabajo se centra en tratar de responder, mediante un análisis de caso, a dos preguntas claves: ¿por qué existen empresas cooperativas? ¿qué estrategias empresariales pueden hacer frente al problema Nimby?
