La regulació de l'eutanàsia i el dret a la mort amb dignitat al Perú a propòsit del cas d'Ana Estrada

El present article analitza l'eutanàsia des de la percepció del cas peruà que té com a protagonista la ciutadana Ana Estrada. Primer es fa una introducció de la problemàtica al voltant del tema. Després comentarem el cas d'Ana Estrada i la seva lluita per aconseguir la declaració de la seva mort amb dignitat. Posteriorment, descriurem el dret a la vida i el dret a la mort. Seguidament, procedirem a descriure la relació existent entre l'eutanàsia i el dret a la llibertat. Més endavant, identifiquem la sanció penal que estableix el Perú per a l'eutanàsia i finalment, explicarem els protocols mèdics per practicar l'eutanàsia. Es va utilitzar el mètode de revisió de literatura, el qual va permetre identificar els documents pertinents amb el tema d'investigació. Es va considerar com a bases de dades a Scopus, la qual va ser seleccionada per la importància que representa en la comunitat científica. Es va concloure que la mort amb dignitat és un dret reconegut des de la jurisprudència i que és debatible en el marc de la protecció derivada en un estat democràtic.
