The "School for migrants: education for the exercise of rights and responsibilities" project as a university social responsibility practice

The relationship between human rights and university social responsibility was theoretically addressed through the study of the initiative "School for Migrants: Education for the Exercise of Rights and Responsibilities", a project to link with the environment of the Austral University of Chile executed by the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences. This initiative was considered a socially responsible practice under the theoretical assumptions of social responsibility applicable to university management. A qualitative research was carried out to form an information base based on interactions through conversations with key informants and review of bibliographic sources.
