Abstract

In our global world, cling to in a historical model, whose framework is conservative neoliberalism or post-neoliberalism, its presented the complexity of the social field of application, in which some of the theories and aesthetic practices about conflicts and social work are deployed. It is in this context that we conceive the interrelation between individual and society with a circular and complex interpretative view: All subjects produce society, while society produces us as social beings. From social work, we approach narrative, emancipatory and affective attempts that aspire to the promotion of reflective community spaces, capable of transforming social relations of conflict or segregation. We think of a sensitivity of social work that builds democracy and citizenship by appealing to the other who has the word. Understanding the word as an ethical-aesthetic position of welcome and hospitality. We would be facing the first pillar of what we could call an affective approach, that is aesthetic, of the formation of a citizen political culture as social processes that must be singled out. From this position, the need for common time is important, understood as availability to each other, search for common experience. The experiential framework values other domains related to the voices, expressions and silences that constitute what is significant in any community. And to discover that which is significant, a space is necessary that allows the emergence of human hospitality, a space to accept and listen to the word of the other. The word becomes a broad method for a new sensitivity towards the other and the plural world in which we live.
