Solidarity experiences arising in educational contexts aim at the civic formation of students. These experiences involve leaving own context to meet others in vulnerable social, economic or existential circumstances. Therefore, to achieve the success of an educational social service, it is necessary to prepare students for the encounter with otherness. In the case of the social service of the USMA, it seeks to awaken in the students a sense of solidarity, an awareness of social challenges, as the ideal preparation to live the experience. To this aim, a workshop has been designed to induce the university social service. This seminar workshop is a motivational and reflective space that has proven to be an effective training mechanism, a good practice that awakens in students the talents and attitudes necessary for the relevant encounter with the community, for the consequent personal development and Service Social needsDownloads
