Para una crítica de la novela: Zambrano y Benjamin
Keywords:

This paper analyses Zambrano’s and Benjamin’s critiques of the novel, especially in El sueño creador and The Storyteller. We hold that what distinguishes both critiques from those of other contemporary authors is the defence of an extended concept of experience and the call for a kind of narrative justice which is absent in the novel. Finally, as an example, we discuss their “sacralizing readings” of Kafka’s texts that show how Kafka’s writing escapes the novel genre.
