Abstract

María Zambrano spoke about her master Ortega y Gasset on the occasion of many courses and lectures. Moreover, she wrote about him in books, essays and she addressed to him several letters. Even, she addressed letters about him to other people. In this paper, the references to Ortega y Gasset included in the letters between Maria Zambrano and Pablo de Andrés Cobos already published are commented on. Its content shows her affection for Ortega y Gasset and her debt of gratitude as well as the differences between the Ortega y Gasset’s thought and her own philosophy.
