Abstract

Together with the notions of form and reduction, phenomenon is a key concept for understanding the critical development of phenomenology in the works of María Zambrano. This article argues that one has to interpret the notion as a reply to several problems within epistemology. Furthermore, the article shows that phenomenon is closely related to the notion of form, the latter being the expressive product of the former.
