This article presents a comparative study of the figure of Antigone in the works of Simone Weiland María Zambrano in order to highlight the theoretical-political framework that emerges from their interpretations. Thus, it is possible to observe not only convergences and discontinuities in their readings, but also the common search, through an original interpenetration between mysticism and politics, for a broadening of the semantic spectrum of politics, which culminates in the valorization of the ecstatic passion of love.
