The text contributes an analysis of the letters they both exchanged and are now part of the collection of the María Zambrano Foundation. After comparing some key moments in their lives and intellectual trajectories, the text focuses on the common aspects of their respective contributions to 20th century thinking: Zambrano’s “method of poetic reason” and Séjourné’s “message of Quetzalcóatl”.
