Abstract

This paper examines the issue of exile in María Zambrano’s thinking, as an historical experience, an existential category and also as a philosophical concept. In order to understand this issue I consider the link between exile and two important figures in Zambrano’s thinking: Antigone, and El niño de Vallecas, or, the idiot.
