This article describes the meaning of the word syzyguía («syzygy») in Maria Zambrano. The term is analyzed from its appearance in the letters addressed to Augustin Andreu and with reference to manuscript number 408 of 1968. It is interesting to see how the word opens new thought spaces that take into consideration sisterhood, friendship, the shared dream, and the small community created around the affinity for metaphysics.
