Abstract

The work we present is a reflection on relationships and empathy in the processes of social accompaniment. A dynamism of recognition that occurs in the most intimate space of pedagogy, interpersonal relationships. A microscopic proposal of recognition that takes shape in the relationships of empathy, care and trust. Through the experience and voices of educators and social workers who work with women who prostitute, we will present four aspects of social intervention that involve a smile in educational intervention: professional closeness, welcoming, research meeting points and the invitation to carry out an educational process.
