Apunts per reimaginar les polítiques de la vulnerabilitat
Abstract
This essay addresses some issues raised by the fact that the idea of vulnerability has been at the core of many interpretations that have been given of the pandemic experience. This time of multiple crisis could even been understood as the occasion for the transformation of societal self-understanding because the recognition of vulnerability as a shared condition allows us to reimagine ourselves in terms of interdependence and fragility, and therefore can reorient the sense of politics. There has been an acceleration of the turn to vulnerability due to pandemics, however as shown in last section, the way that lead to this turn has been longer than it appears.
Keywords: Vulnerability, imagination, societal self-understanding, women’s contemporary thought
