Nature and traces of divine
Keywords:
Traces of divine, Nature, Trust, BeautyAbstract
It is not possible to speak directly of the divine in nature, but one can follow its tracks. The text describes some of these tracks which converge towards a point, although they are different. Some connections with the thinking of ecology have also been made.
Relational trust, in the first experience that joined us to our mother and then to all beings, is of the order of the miraculous, given that it has no motive and no cause. It is the first entrance into the matter of the divine in our relationship with the world.
More generally, relationality with all things, from the unconscious relational side of the body, connects us
to creatures. Religious gestures are what repair this relationality when it has been damaged.
The beauty of nature is sign of a mutual involvement between us and the world, that insinuates something
more, which cannot be objectified, which is of the order of the divine.
The texts on nature of María Zambrano and Anna Maria Ortese are another two tracks followed in order to speak of the subject of the divine in nature.
