In the context of the European Union and thanks to the Development Program Culture 2000, Los caminos de la memoria is an European project that compiles the emblematic landscapes belonging to the both World Wars and the Spanish Civil War by means of a website which includes references to museums, battlefields, bombarded cities, commemorative monuments, etcetera. Eladi Romero, responsible for the project in Spain, reports a file with the main battlefields and sceneries of the Spanish Civil War in Catalonia. From Balaguer and other cities in Lleida to the main landscapes of the Battle of the Ebro, the project wants to approach History and cultural tourism to children and young people.
