After more than 60 years since the end of the Spanish Civil War, the recuperation of such as a patrimony as tanks involved in the conflict is still a matter to solve. This article argues how the study of this kind of heritage can contribute to a better knowledge of this episode of the Spanish and European history. The author also reports the lack of attention towards this military heritage which in some cases remains exposed to the climatological agents. The recovery and restoration of these tanks could lead up to a museum in order to make easier their interpretation and didactic.
