Abstract

The article makes a review of various origins were in 1935 converged in the POUM militants. Addition of Joaquim Maurín and Andreu Nin, in Catalonia converged two major traditions: which came from the revolutionary syndicalism incarnated by the CNT and that came from the radical nationalism. They were numerous militants who had a first participation in the anarcho-syndicalism and important leaders had participated in the attempt to invade Catalonia in 1926. In the rest of the State many activists came from the Marxist socialism and communism. Finally, there were young for who was your first membership and militant women for the first time in its history got organized in an own, autonomous body and published a newspaper. However, they joined same targets: make the revolution and transform the Spanish society of root.
