In this paper we present the public program action carried out in Pau Casals museum during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), especially through the study of daily periodical press, as well as archival sources in order to clarify public behaviour of the institution. We should consider that the Pau Casals museum was linked to the Generalitat and the Second Republic political action, and Pau Casals did three concerts in Barcelona (as well as international tours and recordings) during the war period.
