Reenactment and Spanish Civil War. Some considerations for initiation

Abstract

Historical recreation activities around the Spanish Civil War have been since the beginning of the XXI century practice is increasing. However the quality of these activities has been uneven. The article assumes that the quality of recreation is based largely on credibility, authenticity or credibility of the uniforms and equipment of recreators. We value the main topics that have often devalued recreation period and give directions and instructions, as a «good practice guide» to achieve level activities, especially for people who want to enter in this world. It also reflects on the process of documentation and material selection criteria in order to raise corrected initiation activities in this field.
