Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to rescue from oblivion the name of Paulina Crusat (Barcelona 1990-Sevilla 1981), translator, literary critic, and author of four excellent novels, who, unfairly, has not received much critical attention, and has been often ignored or considered by critics as “outside the canon”. The article reviews her biography and her literary work in order to evaluate her important contribution to the panorama of Spanish literature, based on the fact that she was an original writer who composed her work according to her principles, not subjected to the canon of that period.
