Heidegger and the oblivion of the body

Phenomenology, deconstructivism, feminist studies and ecologism have repeatedly called Heidegger to taskfor not having taken into consideration the phenomenon of the body in his work. Without denying the merits of such critiques, this article focuses its attention on the question of Dasein’s neutrality and asexuality to analyze how Heidegger’s remarks on temporality as the horizon of all meaning are particularly significant for Butler’s notion of performativity.Downloads
