Este trabajo es una lectura crítica del ensayo de Virginia Woolf Una habitación propia, teniendo en cuenta la gran influencia que este texto ejerce sobre el pensamiento italiano de la diferencia sexual (Il pensiero della differenza sessuale) como uno de sus principales referentes. En este sentido, nos hemos preguntado si la obra de Woolf puede ser considerado como un texto feminista con el propósito de estudiar, mediante la lectura de la obra desde esta perspectiva, las interrelaciones entre el texto woolfiano y la filosofía de la diferencia sexual.
