A profile of the long and involved professional life of one of Spain's first female staff newsroom journalists and the first woman to head a Spanish newspaper: Maria Luz Morales (A Coruntilde;a, 1899-Barcelona, 1980). The article focuses, in particular, on her work throughout the 1930s,characterized by two main goals: enhancing the perception of cinema -still a young art at the time- and the development of "feminine" sections in the newspaper that strove to educate her female readers.br /Downloads
