Els privilegis originaris de Catalunya segons Narcís Feliu de la Penya i d'altres historiadors de l'època

The primary objective of the present article is to try to know how Sarcis Feliu de la Penya and other Catalan historians of 17th Century argued the existence of a series of privileges of the Principality. The argumenta1 structure of the investigation tries to deepen in the study of the defense (or attack) of the privileges, writed from historical, juridical, economical, religious and cultural aspects. The investigation is based on the reading of the books of Narcís Feliu de la Penya (Fénix de Cataluria and Anales de Catalz4ria) and several authors of 17th Century in Catalonia (Francesc de Montcada, Jeroni Pujades, Francesc Marti Viladamor and Gaspar Sala, among others), paying attention to other studies made from other specialties, for example, the study of the Catalan language history or the history of Literaturc.
