The bibliometric analysis categories used were database, year of publication, authorship, geographic scope and journal; in addition, methodological and content categories were analyzed, mainly the manifestations of obstetric violence and possible solutions to it. Conclusions. Obstetric violence is a growing topic in Latin American scientific journals.
