The University of Barcelona surveyed 983 new students in legal and political degrees. The survey analyzes the students' position on issues in the public debate and regulated in the current legal system. The results indicate that while their position regarding some issues coincides with the position adopted by the legal system, there is a significant discrepancy in others.
The survey is helpful because it allows university faculty to design a curriculum that reinforces democratic values.
