Abstract

The Service-Learning Promotion Centre in Catalonia is considered a breeding ground for initiatives aimed at facilitating and reinforcing service-learning projects at all educational levels and in all areas of knowledge. The Promotion Centre has developed its activities based on ethical principles such as the non-appropriation of proposals and on recognition. These principles imbue the organisation, life and activities of the projects. The Promotion Centre’s key mission is to disseminate service-learning, and thus the centre has undertaken multiple actions for that purpose: publications, promotion of good practice, study of proposals and construction of knowledge.
