This text was written in response to the request to make the introductory presentation of the first session of the seminar on the challenges to intellectuals of the Spain of the sixties. We present the attitudes of intellectuals and politicians in the Francoism – anti-Francoism dialectic, as well as its reflection in the great debates and reception of new streams of political thought such as Europeanism, anti-Americanism, socialism or the new Post-Conciliar Catholicism.Downloads
