Abstract

Since the 1990s the «Mediterranean Arch» has a strong presence in thespatial discourses made in regions such as Catalonia, Valencian Community, Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur. The paper examines the contributions to the development of this spatial concept made by four theoreticians: Nicolau M. Rubió Tudurí (1891-1981), Josep Maria Batista Roca (1895-1978), Roger Brunet (1931) and Robèrt Lafont (1923-2009)
