Abstract

This work invites us to go through documents in a suggestive way over the history of the emblematic and reformist republican Universitat Autònoma. Casassas follows the historic precedents that bring this educational institution to creation, and at the same time, it follows the academic activity of some of its more emblematic teachers and distinguished names in Catalan culture.
