The article sets out a short approximation of the role played by the journalist Mateo Santos, director of the weekly film magazine Popular Film (Barcelona, 1926.1937), around which would develop an affinity group in Barcelona through the years of the Second Republic characterized by their interest in cinematography and also for the libertarian militancy of their young members.Downloads
