TRAJECTÒRIES DE L’ANTROPOLOGIA IBÈRICA
Abstract
This special issue includes several articles written by renowned anthropologists who, in describing their particular careers, provide interesting insights about Iberian anthropology since the 1970s. The political and social commotion of that time had an influence on the work of autochthonous anthropologists doing research within our borders. It also affected the ethnographic task of foreign scholars who were attracted by the particularities of Iberian societies. Parallel to this, some anthropologists, while travelling abroad in search for intellectual inspiration, contributed to the internationalisation of Iberian anthropology.
