In her well-known paper “Sorties”, published in 1975 and one of the cornerstones of contemporary feminist theory, Hélène Cixous explores the bonds between phallocentrism and logocentrism. Her criticism of dialectics, alterity, sexual difference, desire, pleasure and writing are the basic elements of this text. This article aims to analyze the exersice in dissemination that she develops as regards to psychoanalytical theory. With this goal in mind, I will explore the notions of male and female libidinal economy, from which Cixous rethinks desire and sexual difference, as well as the notion of writing itself, where sexual difference shows itself as desire of alterity.Downloads
