Abstract

The article displays a gallery of ladies from XVI Century Catalan Aristocracy, reflecting on transmission process of titles of nobility through marriage, family relationships, cultural and religious projection and the public presence of women. The work basically focus on the image showed by noblewomen. Historiography becomes another point of discussion.
