Abstract

The production of narrative texts under repressive conditions with its related textual interventions in form of self-censorship by the author and deletion by the censor, constitutes a process which is determined by various unknown and invisible variables. Using the example of the franquist censorship in Spain (1939–1975), the reciprocal relation between author and censor is to be examined. Thereby, the act of censoring will be analyzed as an investigation procedure, that is characterized and regulated by particular configurations of power. The positioning and functioning of the censor, the role of the author in the dictatorial context of censorship as well as the emanating inter- and counterdependent relationship between both are here of particular importance.

Desde el punto de vista de la literatura comparada del siglo XX, resulta interesante la gran producción literaria española de tema bélico, especialmente sobre la Guerra Civil Española y la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Partiendo de una perspectiva hispano-alemana e histórico-literaria resalta el impacto que tuvieron estos acontecimientos bélicos en algunos escritores españoles y por consecuencia su repercusión directa en la narrativa. El objetivo del presente trabajo es el estudio de un grupo de autores con un notable vínculo con la Alemania nazi: son los llamados escritores de la División Azul. Se analizan en este trabajo los elementos germanófilos de seis obras representativas de Alberto Crespo, Enrique Errando Villar, José Luis Gómez Tello, Rodrigo Royo Masía, José Martínez Esparza y Jesús Revuelta. El análisis de sus obras refleja la notoria identificación de dichos escritores con el régimen nacionalsocialista.
