Abstract
The research of forms of social order (or better, ordering) located in urban public space requires a double task: to define these concepts in a useful fashion and to engage with empirical research. These are the two main debates tackled in this article: firstly, the distinction between the city, the urban and public space, and secondly, the methodological considerations in the study of situations of social interaction.Downloads
