Declaration of publishing ethics and best practices

TEISEL adheres to the Declaration of publishing ethics and best practices for scientific journals of the University of Barcelona.

For authors:

  • Authors are responsible for the content of their submission (TEISEL is not responsible for the opinions expressed by the authors).
  • Authors guarantee that their submission and any associated materials are original and do not infringe the copyrights of third parties.

For reviewers:

  • Reviewers undertake to review submissions in an objective, informed, critical, constructive, and impartial manner. As such, submissions will be accepted or rejected solely on the basis of the relevance of the work, its originality and rigor, its fit within TEISEL's objectives, and compliance with the editorial guidelines (Consult the "Submissions" tab).
  • Reviewers undertake to observe the established deadlines (if this is not possible, they must notify the editorial team well in advance).
  • Reviewers must not share, disseminate, or otherwise use the information contained in articles submitted for review before they are published without the corresponding permission of the editorial team and the authors.

 

Gender equality and visibility of women in science

In accordance with international recommendations, articles for TEISEL will include the full first names of both signing authors and those cited in the bibliography.
