El mito del período crítico para el aprendizaje de la pronunciación de un idioma extranjero
Keywords:
período crítico, adquisición, pronunciación, adultosAbstract
This article outlines a psycho-linguistic characterization of an adult learning to pronounce a foreign language. The author comments on studies that question the "critical period hypothesis" and picks up, amongst others, the view put forward by Peter Strevens 30 years ago that adults possess advantages over children when learning a foreign language. His aim: to help in removing the skepticism surrounding the teaching of foreign language pronunciation to adults.Downloads
