Abstract

In this paper we compare, from a descriptive point of view, Wernicke's aphasics prosody with prosody of speakers without this symptomatology in Spanish language. In general, the goal is to observe the idiosyncratic behavior of aphasic speech in front of not aphasic speech, always bearing in mind that, habitually, the fluent aphasia or Wernicke’s aphasia is considered functional and common from a phonetic joint.
