LA RÀDIO EN MENORQUÍ I L’ENTONACIÓ DE LES PREGUNTES PARCIALS
Keywords:
intonation, partial questions, menorquí, radioAbstract
This article wants to describe the intonation of non-polar questions in Menorquí. To do so we have analyzed 41 questions taken from a radio corpus. Our goal is to find the most common melodic patterns and see its recurrence. The paper takes the Melodic Analysis of Speech (MAS) as theoretical framework and assumes that the intonation owns to the phonological level and it’s constituted by all tone variations relevant that take place in speech. All statements taken have been analyzed following the analysis method proposed by Cantero and Font-Rotchés in Protocolo de análisis melódico del habla (2009).Downloads
